Get ready to board the ÖBB 8073 from RSSLO for CityShuttle passenger services.
Built in the 1980’s and converted into CityShuttle coaches in the 1990’s the ÖBB 8073 is a popular push-pull passenger service on Austrian railways. Despite being phased out in some areas for newer models these can still be seen in use today for some S-Bahn and Regional services. Rebuilt in detail here for Train Simulator Classic this locomotive pack features the Pflatsch control car, which was one of the first examples of this type in Austria, and the matching coaches.
The ÖBB 8073 includes an authentic cab car with realistic controls, SIFA and PZB 90 safety systems, as well as individual controls for in-cab features like the side windows. This locomotive can be used with Quick Drive across many Austrian routes, and the pack includes three custom designed scenarios for the Salzburg - Schwarzach-St. Veit route where you will take control of local passenger services.
