Stretching for 80 km through the countryside of Southern Germany, the München - Ingolstadt rail line connects two of the country’s major industrial towns. This busy corner of Germany creates a great deal of rail traffic, with quantities of people, as well as freight, needing to be moved every day. As well as serving the needs of the local area, the line’s connections via Munich ultimately connect it with major trail hubs across the country and further afield, into Austria and beyond.
