The challenging and stunning Pennines await in Train Simulator, with the new Huddersfield Line: Manchester - Leeds route!
Stretching 43 miles between Manchester Victoria and Leeds, the Huddersfield Line, as the name suggests, calls at the various towns and villages in the Colne and Tame Valleys of West Yorkshire, including the major intermediate station of Huddersfield itself.
The line is of significant importance and is one of the busiest lines in the region, seeing local and long-distance passenger services that stretch across the width of Northern England. Passengers are treated to a most picturesque journey, climbing hillsides, crossing viaducts and racing through tunnels, including the Standedge Tunnel, which runs alongside ancient canal infrastructure.
In Train Simulator, the Huddersfield Line is represented as it stands today, complete with modernisation and current track layout features, including the impressive state-of-the-art rebuilds of Manchester Victoria and Leeds.
Featuring in the pack to offer the most variety is a slew of Privatisation era 1990s rolling stock, including the Regional Railways BR Class 158, fully equipped with features and sounds from Armstrong Powerhouse. Accompanying this is the almighty BR Class 142 Pacer, and 4 flavours of BR Class 47/8 in various liveries, with coaching stock, and more, included of course.
Take control of Trans-Pennine services on the sprawling Huddersfield Line: Manchester - Leeds route for Train Simulator!
