Ashes of Arcanum: AoA - Dragonkins - Detailed Information

The Dragonkins are the only Eimon species created by a God's hand.

The Dragonkin are separated into 4 Sub Species. Each relating to the 4 Elder Dragons. There is the Drygins, Wyrms, Wyverns, and Drakes.



Drygins, The offspring of Uriv, the red Elder Dragon, and their four origins are:
The Helamintes, Dragonic Drygin Women.
The Govian - Dragonic Drygin Men.
The Nillirids - Humanoid Drygin Women.
The Ceidae - Humanoid Drygin Men.

As the offspring of Uriv, they all gain the power of flight, and resistance to all Red Based Attacks. Each Origin gains their own special traits as well.



Wyrms, are the offspring Anke, the blue Elder Dragon, and their four origins are:
The Aptus - Dragonic Wyrm Women
The Aleses- Dragonic Wyrm Men
The Eoxvins - Humanoid Wyrm Women
The Itids - Humanoid Wyrm Men

As offspring of Anke, her offspring gain her blinding speed. All Wyrms gain a permanent +2 to their Evasion checks. Each Origin gains their own special traits as well.




Wyverns are the offspring of Yrsu, the white Elder Dragon, and their four origins are:
The Isagians - Dragonic Wyvern Women
The Hugrants - Dragonic Wyvern Men
The Ophins - Humanoid Wyvern Women.
The Zaihogs - Humanoid Wyvern Men.

As offspring of Yrsu, her offspring gain her specialized flying prowess. Gaining very quick speed while flying, and no magical effects or water can stop their flight. Each Origin gains their own special traits as well.



Drakes are the offspring of Disa, the green Elder Dragon, and their four origins are:
The Isagians - Dragonic Drake Women
The Hugrants - Dragonic Drake Men
The Ophins - Humanoid Drake Women.
The Zaihogs - Humanoid Drake Men.

Drakes are a little different. They do not gain anything that is specific to the entire subspecies of drakes, but all of their traits are specialized within their origin. Making each origin very powerful comparatively to other Dragonkin.
