You have arrived at a forgotten tower full of dangers, and there is no way to escape. Your only chance is to reach the top of the tower and break the curse using the power of runic artifacts. Help Maia and other explorers uncover the secrets of the cursed tower!
The Shadowed Rune is a challenging action roguelike that you can play solo or in two-player co-op*. Combine the power of runes to discover new spells and ascend the tower to break the curse. You'll face enemies that are not as friendly as they seem, puzzles where you’ll need to wisely use the power of the elements. Have I mentioned the bosses guarding each floor? They are just the beginning...
*Local cooperative multiplayer requires at least one connected controller.
DEMO CONTENT
We have prepared this demo with care to gather your firsthand feedback so that we can continue improving it until the launch date.
In the demo, you'll be able to play:
- The full prologue/tutorial to learn the various game mechanics.
- A special dungeon with a final boss so you can get a sense of the gameplay rhythm we want to achieve: Enjoy dungeon exploration, solve puzzles, and face hordes of enemies. Are you in?
Key Features:
A unique roguelike adventure with elements of bullet hell action, puzzles, and challenging bosses.
Local cooperative mode. Every new adventure can be played in co-op mode for two players, even online (via Steam Remote Play Together).
Magic system based on seven elements (water, fire, wind, earth, lightning, light, and darkness) that will allow you to generate 134.217.728 possible spell combinations.
You will also have a complete magical compendium that will allow you to discover powerful spells in the middle of combat. Switch between runes and change your attacks in real time to modify your strategy without stopping the action.
A tower divided into seven floors with dozens of levels to explore. Moreover, every adventure is different: Levels will change after each defeat. Are you ready to break the curse? Try again!
Interact with the environment, solve puzzles, fight waves of enemies, and discover unique artifacts that will change the way you play.
Roadmap:
Early Access release in 2025.
The Early Access version will include at least:
2 playable characters.
Dungeon with at least 4 floors and dozens of levels to conquer.
Over 100 spells and dozens of unique artifacts to unlock.
During Early Access, the game will be updated periodically, taking community feedback into account.
Translation to Spanish and English at a minimum.
Planned content to be implemented during development after the Early Access launch:
Story expansion with new chapters and more endgame content.
New characters (up to a total of 7).
More enemies and final bosses.
New arcane spells to discover.
More items, artifacts, and characters to interact with.
New mechanics to be announced.
Translation to more languages.
What will happen once the game exits Early Access and is officially released?
This project is very special, and our intention is to support it post-launch with periodic free content expansions.
