Hello everyone, Are you ready for CHAOS??? First of all, thank you so much for the supportive comments, upvoting and general feedback from our last update. We have a small but very bustling community here and I can't overstate how much that feedback resonates with us and keeps us motivated. We're very happy that we managed to deliver on a specific requests such as initial controller support, controls for Steamdeck support and a difficulty curve adjustments to make the game more enjoyable and accessible. We are still working on these features more to make them the best they can be so thank you for your continued feedback. We're still working through our list of nice-to-haves as well as some other critical features. We are however. a little blocked by our team size, and access to various support channels such as QA which we had prior to our launch. Taking a queue from our peer developers, we are going to try and solve this problem, but we need your help to do it. What we propose is a separate test branch, we're calling the Public Test Realm. (I'll refer to it as PTR from here, a little nod to our MMO days) This PTR can be accessed by anyone who owns a copy of the game. You are effectively moving over to a pre-release patch which we're still working on, testing ourselves and trying to ensure it's stability before we put it into the default branch of the game which everyone plays on. We will of course ensure a certain level of QA is done before we update this branch. However, other than an initial smoke test of booting, key features, and a respectable enough playthrough, the build should absolutely be considered to have bugs and experience tweaks that might not be perfectly tuned, yet. This is where your feedback and support would be greatly appreciated. Before you move to this branch, you should copy your current save file to your desktop so that you can use it later on IF you run into any catstrophic bugs in the test. Simply copy this folder somewhere safe and you can place it back in the same location later on: C:\Users\(your windows username)\AppData\LocalLow\OTA IMON\Zet Zillions We can talk more about it in this Steam thread. For now I'll move on to telling you how to access it. How to Access: Code: PublicTestPass777 [olist] [*] Right click on Zet Zillions in your Steam library [*] Choose Properties [*] Choose Betas [*] Enter the above Code and press Check Code [*] Choose the accept button [*] Confirm that your library build updates and your game now says Zet Zillions [Public_Test_Realm] [/olist] The notes for this build are the following. For now, this is a draft version of what SHOULD feel like a sort of daily run, or lunchtime run mode. We want it to be a lot of fun, easy to access, a challenge curve that can be adjusted, and eventually a reward system, that will give you cards and boons which will be available in the regular campaign runs of ZZ as well as this mode. In short, you pick a series of debuffs to help increase the Chaos Metre making the game measurably harder, pursue victory even with these difficulty mods in place, and get a killer reward if you're successful. We're still designing the rewards so this is a beta for now but we would LOVE to hear what you think of it. More info on all of that soon. For now I'm going to wrap it up here as this is a very long post. I just want to say thank you thank you thank you for the positive reviews we've been receiving lately. We went from a 74% position to 90% over the past two months slowly but surely. We're so happy to see this sentiment improve and to bring ZZ to the level that everyone wants to see it achieve. If you have any issues please let us know and we'll get back to you as soon as we can. RF/OTA IMON
