Patch 1.0.3 Update: Improvements and Bug Fixes

Hello everyone,
Following the initial feedback and our recent 1.0.2 patch, we’ve continued to listen to your thoughts and have made further improvements to [b]Wéko The Mask Gatherer[/b]. Your input has been invaluable in helping us refine the game, and we’re excited to share the details of our 1.0.3 patch:
[b]Community-Requested Improvements:[/b]

[*] [u]Pause Menu:[/u] We heard your feedback about the lack of a pause menu, and we're happy to announce that [b]the game will now pause when you access the Inventory.[/b] This should give you the break you need during intense gameplay moments.
[*] [u]Inventory and UI Enhancements:[/u] Many of you mentioned that the UI in the inventory and the text size was a bit small, particularly on the SteamDeck and other screens. [b]We've updated the inventory interface and increased the text size for both tooltips and the inventory[/b], making it more readable and user-friendly.
[*] [u]Credits in Map Menu:[/u] We've added the Credits to the Map menu, making it easier for players to view the game's credits at any time.

[b]Number Adjustments:[/b]

[*] [u]Spear Damage Boost: [/u]We've improved the damage of the spear, increasing it by 5 points for each attack in a combo as well as for the jump attack, giving you a more powerful weapon to wield in your adventures.
[*] [u]Stamina Regeneration:[/u] Previously, when shielding, your stamina regeneration was at 1/4 of its normal speed. We’ve upgraded it to 1/2, allowing you to regenerate stamina faster while shielding.
[*] [u]FPS and Stamina Regeneration:[/u] We've fixed an issue where FPS would affect stamina regeneration. Now, stamina regen is consistent regardless of FPS, ensuring a fair experience across all devices.

[b]Bug Fixes:[/b]

[*] [u]Lock-On Targeting: [/u]Some players reported issues with the lock-on system where it was impossible to target enemies correctly. We’ve added a bunch of code to prevent this problem.
[*] [u]Bombs & Stalagmites:[/u] Fixed an issue where bombs from Cinos were incorrectly hitting stalagmites. This should no longer happen, ensuring fairer gameplay.
[*] [u]Final Boss Fix:[/u] Addressed a bug that caused the final boss to kick players into the air before striking, preventing unexpected deaths and making the battle more consistent.
[*] [u]Achievement Fix:[/u] Some players encountered a bug where the Steam Achievement for "The Best Racer" wasn’t triggered. Now, if you talk to the NPC responsible for this quest again after beating the record of 22 seconds, he should trigger the achievement properly.
[*] [u]Narcissio 2D Cinematic:[/u] The Narcissio 2D cinematic was missing in previous versions, but we've now added it back into the game, restoring the complete storytelling experience.

[b]Collisions:[/b]

[*] [u]Improved Collision Detection:[/u] We've improved and removed some strange collisions that were causing issues in various parts of the game.
