High Iron Simulations scenario packs bring to Train Simulator Classic coast to coast railroading from across the eras, offering experiences ranging from the bustle of Northeast Corridor action to tough and unforgiving railroading in the towering mountains of the American west. The acclaimed CSX Hanover Subdivision route of 2020 marked the release of High Iron Simulations first commercial route for Train Simulator Classic. Extending from Hagerstown, Maryland via historic Gettysburg to Hanover, Pennsylvania, this rugged contemporary CSX line, originally built by the Western Maryland, features a tough, saw-tooth profile, steep grades, heavy tonnage, and modern CSX power. To recall and bring the Western Maryland era to life on the Hanover Subdivision route, High Iron Simulations introduced the Western Maryland Retro Pack 01, featuring WM motive power, rolling stock, and additional career scenarios. And High Iron Simulations has since developed additional retro packs for the Chessie System, Baltimore & Ohio, Penn Central, and Santa Fe. In 2021, High Iron Simulations released its monumental and best-selling B&O Mountain Subdivision route, which recreates the legendary Baltimore & Ohio’s “West End” original main line across the Alleghenies from Cumberland, Maryland to Grafton, West Virginia during the Chessie era. Also including the Western Maryland’s Thomas Subdivision, the route totals more than 145 route miles and features four locomotive types, more than 20 freight cars, and career scenarios. And the B&O Mountain Subdivision Retro Pack delivers even more classic action with four types of locomotives, freight equipment, and career scenarios from the B&O era! North American railroading is captivating, diverse, and challenging. High Iron Simulations’ routes, retro packs, and scenario packs bring all that drama to Train Simulator Classic – and the full and popular line of High Iron Simulations products are now on sale at the Steam Store! https://store.steampowered.com/app/24010/Train_Simulator_Classic/
