We finished our first new patch! We prepared lot of interesting stuff for you:
New Biome: Desert

8 Ground Types: Create deserts, exotic cities, or even mysterious pyramids.

50+ Designs: Add more flavor to your desert city or make your sand dunes drier with various designs.

7 Enemies: Battle venomous snakes, mummies, or even the Pharaoh himself.

5 Music Tracks + SFX + Background Noises: Set the perfect vibe with new music and sound effects.

Undead NPCs: Populate your pyramids or the previous Graveyard biome with undead NPCs.
New Mechanics:

Night: We’ve implemented nighttime, making it much darker and scarier than before.

Color Control: Adjust the colors of the sun and moon to set the mood of your days, sunsets, nights, and dawns.

Lighting:

Custom Lighting: Nights can’t be complete without lights, so we’ve added custom lights to create a more vibrant and creative nighttime atmosphere.

Creature Lighting: Heroes and enemies now have default light sources to see in the dark.

Lighting Items: Enemies now drop lighting items with a certain probability, so your heroes can light up the night. If you want better visibility at night, just light a candle or a jack-o’-lantern.

Design Lighting: We’ve modified certain design elements to serve as light sources during the night, so placing a lamp or torch will automatically light up the area.

New Class: Alchemist

A new class expands the heroes’ variety. We’ve created the Alchemist, the first class to operate with mixed damage. With its poisonous flasks, it inflicts poison on enemies, dealing damage over time. If allies need help, the Alchemist can also provide them with boosting potions.

New Online System (Epic Online Services)

We’ve rewritten the online session system to use Epic Games’ Epic Online Services (EOS) for online gaming (host, join). This means you’ll need an Epic Games account for the online part of the game, which you can link to your existing Steam account. This change is necessary to expand The Storyteller to new platforms in the future, allowing you to play cross-platform with friends, even on mobile.

New Campaign:

Tales of Abrana - Tomb of the Pharaoh: Released a new campaign where you can explore the desert continent of Abrana and uncover many mysteries while helping the pharaoh dealing with the bandits.

Changes:

Refined the colors of designs to better match the new Day/Night system.

Balanced mixed damage so the new Alchemist class is as strong as the others.

Changed most buff abilities to last 3 turns from level 1, instead of scaling with the level (there are some exceptions).

During battles, you can see the effect of the buffs/debuffs not just the duration.

Lowered difficulty so that Normal provides a suitable experience for players less familiar with turn-based games, while other difficulties offer appropriate challenges for experienced players.

Monsters’ dodge chance no longer scales, keeping basic attacks relevant for those not using SPD as a main stat.

Players will now be warned if they try to exit the looting panel without looting everything.

Your turn will no longer end automatically when you run out of Action Points; you can still move to finish your turn in a good position.

Other balance changes.

Minor Bug Fixes
