Hello all and thank you for your patience - we are sorry for the recent issues with Online worlds, but we can confirm that online multiplayer is back and running properly for all users who have been affected! [b]What happened?[/b] We started receiving reports of players being unable to connect to multiplayer as early as Sunday night, most commonly with the "Connection to Online Services was Interrupted" message. This happened in Steam and crossplay games, but seemed to happen mostly in some areas of the USA and Canada. Thanks to the support tickets that you all have sent, we were able to use the logs from these sessions to uncover the core issue that was affecting our peer-to-peer networking and connectivity between hosts and joiners. If you tried to connect from anywhere else, you also may have encountered this issue if one or more players was in this affected region. As of 4pm PST on 9/25, we have confirmed that games are functioning normally once again on Steam, as well as cross-play worlds.
