Bigfoot. Mothman. The Loch Ness Monster. I have to admit, I'm partial to a cryptid or two. Slender Man and the SCP Foundation are all well and good, but there's something to be said about the real-world mystery and cultural heritage behind cryptozoology. However, while the likes of Pacific Drive and Control incorporate close encounters with supernatural creatures and objects, traditional cryptids are woefully underrepresented.
