Welcome to the new Weekly Post! The Weekly Post is a mini report of the on goings in Tabletop Simulator as well as any news relating to Berserk Games. Even though we get updates out fairly regularly, we thought something new like 'The Weekly Post' would be a good way to keep you in the loop in between updates.
Berserk Games
I'd like to welcome our newest Programmer, Dan, who started working with us on July 20th. You may see him as either Dan K or Remixx on the forums or in game. Dan has done a great job keeping our Master Server online when we were being attacked and I know we'll be a lot more productive having him around. Welcome Dan! Here's a nice little introduction from him: "Hi I'm Dan! I'm super excited to have the honor of being the newest and first addition to the Berserk Games team as a programmer! I've been playing games forever since the NES and DOOM for PC (even further back with Math Blaster and Mario Teaches Typing!). Recently I worked in the Dota2 community on the website DotaHattery (real-time 3D previews of cosmetic items for Dota2 heroes in WebGL). Now I'm here with Berserk Games and I look forward to making your favorite game (and future favorite games) even better!"
What's Been Going On?
The past couple of weeks have been a roller coaster ride with the DDoS attacks on both individual users and our Master Server. We were able to blacklist those attackers who harassed, threatened and took down our player's connections, and we've been working diligently fighting against the attacks to ensure the Master Server remained online. Things have definitely cooled off since then, but we're still keeping a watchful eye on our server in case we notice anything funny going on. Thank you everyone for your patience during this time and especially to those individuals who were personally affected. We hope that everything is back to normal and you can continue playing fun games on Tabletop Simulator!
Moderators
We're looking for moderators on our sub-reddit, so if you're interested, read through the sticky'ed post and then apply here! It may look daunting, but it's really not.
What's Coming Up?
We value our community's feedback and over this past year we have implemented a lot of features and suggestions that you guys have given us. And we're still listening! Please continue to post your suggestions on our official forums. Here's a teaser of what we've been working on for future updates.

Saved camera positions - We're working on giving you the ability to move your camera positions where you want and then save them. This will make it much easier to navigate to specific saved positions while playing games.
Search improvements - We're looking into improving the search function to make it more reliable.
Grid lines - We already have grid lines, but we're working to make them even better by giving you the option to raise them up and down for all your gaming needs.
2D Pointers - If you like using the current 2D pointer, we'll also be adding in 2D pointers for the side menu. Samples below.
