A ghoulish spell has been cast over your otherwise innocent peasants once again, with the arrival of our now yearly Stronghold Halloween update! While workers can still shovel gong, fight in your army and eat their fill of rations like the best of them, something terrible has definitely happened here... Your only hope is to squash any temptation to hollow out their new noggins and put them to work as far away from your corrupted keep as possible! You could attempt to burn these problems away with the new green wildfire, however we have a strong feeling the curse may only be lifted by those who cast it. The Stronghold Halloween update is now available on Steam for players who have downloaded the latest versions of Stronghold 2 and Stronghold Legends. This event will last for five days, with the above spooky cosmetic changes in place until November 3rd at 10am GMT. After this the spell will break, your peasants (and their names) returning to normal and the eternal green fire becoming regular garden variety not-at-all-magic fire once again. Happy Halloween!
