Update 1.0 will introduce the world of Starship Troopers: Extermination to not only [b]PC [/b]but to console on [b]PS5 [/b]and [b]Xbox Series X | S[/b]. This is just the beginning for Starship Troopers: Extermination. So bring the fight to the Bugs and make sure everyone makes it out alive! We will be releasing the full patch notes soon, but you can find below a quick summary of what our new and veteran troopers can expect in Update 1.0. [h2][b]Crossplay[/b][/h2] Starship Troopers: Extermination will be featuring Crossplay come October 11th, 2024! PC troopers will now be able to play with the new batch of recruits on consoles! Please note: Starship Troopers: Extermination will [b]NOT [/b]feature [b]Cross-save/Cross-platform progression[/b]. Data from your PC profile will be [b]NON-TRANSFERABLE[/b] from PC to Console and vice versa; you will be considered a newly enlisted trooper if you make the change in platform. [h2][b]Companies [/b][/h2] Troopers can now join or create a "Company" with their fellow troopers. Companies play an integral role in the Galactic War and we encourage all troopers to play together and work within Companies to achieve great accomplishments in the name of the Federation! [h2][b]Boreas[/b][/h2] The Federation is prepping the Mobile Infantry to investigate the Planet Boreas, a frosty wasteland of a rock and infested with pesky Bugs. Do what needs to be done and bring the heat to Archie! [h2][b]Galactic Front [/b][/h2] The Galactic War is in full swing and takes place over multiple Galactic Fronts; these are focused Campaigns organized and directed by Sky Marshal Catherine “Ramrod” Ramsay. The Campaigns are massive in scale and impact, and the Sky Marshal guarantees troopers will be rewarded for their valiant efforts if the community can successfully complete all phases of the Galactic Front. To participate, players must join a Company Operation.
