Hello everyone, After a long delay, for which I once again sincerely apologize, we've finally released the update for Starpoint Gemini 2. 64bit OSes will now use their respective 64bit executable file for the game (among other things). [b]Everything is handled by your Steam client, but if problems occur, if you get an error that there's an executable missing, please restart Steam client to make sure the update is downloaded. If that doesn't help, please verify game files.[/b] And if it's still not working, contact us directly on customersupport@starpointgemini.com with a description of the issue and make sure you note that you're contacting us about Starpoint Gemini 2 ;). The update brings, as is noted above, full support for 64bit OSes (and everything that comes with that), as well as [i]in-code[/i] optimizations that make the game run faster and more stable. These improvements were originally done for the upgraded version of the game engine used in Starpoint Gemini Warlords. As we improve the Warlords engine, we'll do our best to [i]port[/i] at least some of those things into the Starpoint Gemini 2 engine as well.
