Following a bad day to be on Twitter if you’re not a fan of arguing with people about video game boxes, Xbox’s Phil Spencer has revealed that the console maker does plan on addressing the elephant in its room…via an update that you’ll have to wait until next week for.

If you’re out of the loop, recent reports that the green company is considering bringing the likes of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle and Starfield to PS5 down the line, rather than keeping them exclusive until the sun burns out. Thankfully, everyone’s favourite t-shirt wearing games man has stepped up to reassure the panicked Xbox faithful, sort of.

“We're listening and we hear you,” Spencer declared in a tweet that started off in unnecessarily creepily phrased fashion. “We've been planning a business update event for next week, where we look forward to sharing more details with you about our vision for the future of Xbox. Stay tuned.”
