During the year our development team has been working hard to create a new foundation for the graphical component of the game. The old technologies were completely scrapped and the whole approach to graphics rendering was reimagined. Today we are releasing the new Stalcraft graphics engine!

As in the case of Artificial Intelligence, now we have created only the technical base and tools for further improvement of the graphical component of the game. We will have a significant amount of work to optimize and eliminate any incompatibilities and flaws.
The release of a new graphics engine inevitably involves a lot of bugs and flaws. Developers physically cannot have all the necessary PC configurations to cover everything with internal tests.
At the end of the OTS we didn't find any critical bugs, and we lacked enough participants to get a complete picture of the problems. Since the snow at the New Year's event is already made on the new engine - we decided to speed up the detection of bugs and release the graphics engine as soon as possible to have time to fix everything!

At this point, the entire color correction has been changed, which has noticeably brightened the game, bringing the gray point to more comfortable values. The fog effects have also been updated, which can't help but please many players!

We will try to keep further plans for updating the graphics a secret, as we don't want to spoil the surprise and we are going to surprise you!
Backwater
The zombies that appear after the player dies near the Monolith antennas have stopped using improperly functioning weapons.
Auto-balance in session battles
A new system of automatic player balancing has been implemented in session battles. The experimental system seeks to equalize both teams in terms of player strength and number of players.
The system will be improved as statistics and feedback are collected.
