Players' #1 request for a mini map has now been implemented. Unfortunately, due to software idiosyncrasies, this version is incompatible with any previous R1 saves.
* A map of the expedition's progress in Africa can now be accessed from the desk by selecting the map on the newspaper. Shown are terrain, rivers, lakes, oases and natives. Caches are not deemed to be "discoveries". Special discoveries are mentioned by name only, as their locations have no bearing on game play.
* The journal can now also be accessed from the desk.
* The journal has been re-mastered and made larger to improve legibility.
* Re-mastered the look of the compendium pages for better clarity.
* Fixed a bug which incorrectly allowed men in the expedition not having to drink from their canteens while occupying a desert hex containing an oasis that is not a river source. Only animals have that privilege.
* Fixed a bug which confused spending a turn collecting fur or tusks with having to spend time with a native tribe, resulting in the output of an incorrect message.
