Hello, Civilization fans! As we prepare to launch Civilization VI: Gathering Storm, the largest expansion in Civilization franchise history, we wanted to offer some info on an update to the game’s launcher that will be available alongside the expansion’s launch. This new update will fix a bug causing a process to continue running on some users’ machines after exiting the launcher. Additionally, Civilization VI: Gathering Storm requires users to be on the latest patch. Any users who enabled the Legacy beta branch for Civilization VI on Steam will need to opt out of it in order to play Gathering Storm.
