Content Update: New Level (Subzero Slaughter) & Parry mechanic

Hey Shredders we're back with a new update to fix previous issues and bring you tons of new content! We have a new level that will provide the biggest challenge yet in Shred Off history and for you to conquer the leaderboards on a new level!

• Added a splash screen
• Added music to the main menu
• You can now dodge and deflect enemy projectiles by doing tricks.
• Voice acting for the player, enemies, and a new announcer

• Truuli Peak & Dark Aurora now has guaranteed pick-ups, you can strategize your run or be daring and go for randomized pick-up boxes if you’re feeling lucky...
• New soundtrack for the main menu.
• Several tutorial missions were updated and simplified. New tutorial missions were added.

[h3]Enemies[/h3]
• The Molotov chucker and gunner enemies are now bigger and wear orange jackets to show their allegiance to “Bad Taste & Standing Out” gang.

• Settings are saved switching between levels when applied.
• The timer now gets paused while respawning when going out of bounds.
• Added text to out-of-bounds effect.
• Screen flashes green when you pick up a health orb.
• Results screen now has a level select button, so that you can enter the next level.
• Leaderboards overhaul to look better.
• To help with the visual clarity of the tutorial UI, some UI elements were adjusted and given new colors.
• New font in menus that supports Chinese languages.
• The Main Menu button has been replaced with a Level Select button in the Results Screen.
• Molotov explosions are now aligned with the ground.
[h3]Bugfixes:[/h3]
• Optimized collisions in onboarding, Dark Aurora, and Truuli Peak levels
• Fixed a bug that caused the screen to flash red upon picking up a green health orb.
• Fixed a crash caused by picking up two pickups on the same tick.
• Fixed button input for dropping weapons on the controller.
• Fixed character going for another trick after a failed combo.
• Fixed pause menu buttons leading to incorrect menus.
• Fixed UI Scaling in menus.
• Fixed snow trail at the tutorial level.
• Fixed a lot of collision issues at the tutorial level.
[h2]Known Issues [/h2]
• The landscape at the end of Truuli Peak becomes transparent infrequently.
• Loading the levels on a lower-end machine will create issues where it pops in.
• After losing a combo, getting kills without a combo score will not update the score display until the player does a trick.
