Hello, fellow chefs!
First of all, we want to express our heartfelt thanks for your amazing support. The game has now sold over 3,000 copies worldwide! As a small startup team, this means everything to us, and we couldn't be more grateful.
In the two weeks since launch, we’ve received so much feedback, and we've gone through every bit of it. Your lovely comments about the game's coziness, the cute art, and the music made us so happy, and your suggestions for improving gameplay and mechanics have been incredibly helpful. We’ve heard you loud and clear and are excited to announce some updates based on your requests! In this update, we’re adding more backpack space and some new music to the game. Just like our slogan says, the new track is “Freshly Brewed” by our amazing musician, and we hope you enjoy it!
We’d also like to address some of the big questions we’ve been getting about Shokudo Underworld:
[olist]
[*] Will there be a mobile, Nintendo Switch, or other platform version soon?
Unfortunately, the short answer is no. Shokudo Underworld was initially designed just for PC, and we didn't plan for other platforms. That said, we’ve heard how much you’d love to play it elsewhere, and we agree it would be a great fit. However, at the moment, there aren’t plans to expand to other platforms.
[*] Is there controller support for this game?
We didn't specifically design the game for controllers, but we've heard many of you are using Steam Deck and other controllers to play, which is awesome! While it’s not officially supported, it seems to be working for some players.

Thank you so much for being part of our chefing journey!
