Hey everyone, First off we want to apologize for the delay. We've been working hard to get Shelf Life fully released for everyone to enjoy, and we're exited to announce that our second and final major patch is now live! These past 2 months have been a bit rough. One of our devs computers died, leaving is with just 2 Developers. It slowed progress more than we expected, but we've kept pushing through and the game is turning out even better than we had hoped. We can't give a solid release date yet but rest assured it's coming very soon! In the meantime we hope you enjoy the latest patch. Here's what's new: [list] [*][b]New Level - DUM Tunnels[/b]: Navigate a series of tight tunnels only large enough for a single self driving car, sneak past sentry turrets and solve puzzles while blasting through an army of Bucklezergs lizard men to reach Ron during his computer-assisted therapy session. (The boss cheaped out on the self driving cars hazard recognition cameras so don't expect them to try and avoid hitting you.) [*] [b]New Weapon - The Fungiblizer[/b]: Burn through your enemies (and your life savings) with this NFT engraving gun. [*][b]Massive Overhaul of Eggs HQ[/b]: We know Eggs HQ had some big performance and gameplay issues, so we completely overhauled it. The levels performance has been massively optimized and the level design has also been improved. [*][b]Music[/b]: Enjoy the awesome soundtrack our composer made for Shelf Life, With new music tracks playing in every level. [*][b]New enemy models, sounds and animations[/b]: Enemies now look more lizard-like and behave in a more believable way, with new models sounds and animations. [*][b]AI Enhancements[/b]: Enemies are now smarter. They'll chase you better, hide from you better and put up a tougher fight overall. [*][b]Difficulty Settings[/b]: Players can now choose from different difficulty settings that affect enemy frequency and ammunition drops. [*][b]New Main Menu[/b]: We overhauled the main menu and setting page, complete with a level selector and a reset save button for if the game get's corrupted between patches. [*]Even more miscellaneous bug fixes. [/list] We know this patch took longer than expected, but we believe both this update and the full release will be worth the wait.
