Hello SHADOWBOX Steam community, Last night at midnight Eastern time, I officially released SHADOWBOX: Mausoleum of Natural History into Steam Early Access. The game itself has been in development for over a year, with the groundwork laid over the course of the past 2 and a half years. In short, this moment has been a long time coming, and I'm very excited to get this project into the hands of eager players and learners so we can continue this journey together. It hasn't even been a full 24 hours since release, and the game has already been claimed by 3,246 Steam users. That is a staggering number to me. I am a paleontologist, and very much not a professional software developer, so I never imagined my first attempt at releasing an original work would get so much traction so quickly. In light of that fact, I hope that everyone will be patient as I work to incorporate feedback and improve the game's performance. We are also preparing to work on expanding the Beta to include support for additional operating systems. Rest assured that the exhibits you can enjoy now will continue to be polished in the near future, and I've already picked out the next suite of new exhibits to build and open as well. I want to wish everyone a happy new year, and I'd like to say thanks again for your interest in SHADOWBOX. Here's to the journey ahead! Benjamin Mohler
