This update introduces new difficulty levels for the main map: Beginner, Normal, and Hard mode. -Beginner Mode: Checkpoints are available approximately every 200 meters, and you can find plenty of teleport essences along the way to save and load your position. -Normal Mode: Teleport essences are no longer available on the path, but checkpoints remain. There is also more wood available for building platforms than in Hard mode, but less than in Beginner mode. -Hard Mode: There are no checkpoints, no teleport essences along the way, and very little wood. This mode is only suitable for true PeakPals fans. Additionally, the beginning of the main map "Only Up" has been slightly simplified. New Additions: A brand new map called Extreme Obstacles has been added. This map is very challenging, with no weapons, teleport essences, or checkpoints. Every jump must be precise, and one mistake will send you all the way back to the bottom. Other New Features: -Music has been added to the game. -An option to adjust music volume has been added. -A windowed/fullscreen toggle has been added. -Checkpoints have been added to select difficulties (Beginner and Normal). -Descriptions for challenges have been added to the game menu. -Player count text has been added to the menu/challenges section. -Adding more achievements for each difficulty separately Bug Fixes: -Fixed collision issues with pre-built wooden platforms (on the client side). -Fixed falling through the ground. -Fixed lighting issues on low and medium settings (it's now dark at night). -Improved item pickup mechanics. -Fixed inventory issues on the client side. -Fixed a bug where teleport essences were duplicating in the inventory.
