[Issues identified in the Sep. 19th Scheduled Update]
Hello,
This is Project Moon.
The following are issues that have been identified in the Sep. 19th Scheduled Update(version 1.57.0)
They will be corrected via a future scheduled update, and we will inform you via a Scheduled Update Notice as soon as they are corrected.
1. An issue where, in a Main Story Chaptter 5 Boss fight, turns would infinitely grow without letting the players or the enemies take any action
Cause: This was a side effect that occurred as we were developing a new system, and it occurred in this update. This occurs when the turn where the ‘Assisted Defense’ was used, but if a certain enemy was defeated by effects such as “Burn” in the same turn.
Solution: We corrected the logic in the corresponding boss pattern.
2. An issue where Lobotomy E.G.O::Lantern Don Quixote’s Coin Reuse for Skill 3 would activate repeatedly
Cause: This was a side effect that occurred due to a new system affecting the Reuse logic, and it occurred in this update.
Solution: We identified the problematic Reuse logic, and we resolved it by correcting the said logic.
3. An issue where, as the player is making inputs to the UI while using an E.G.O, using the shortcut keys would immediately cause the combat phase to begin
Cause: This was caused because the game intercepts both the mouse controls and the shortcut key controls at the same time. It occurred after we implemented the shortcut key system to the game.
Solution: We adjusted the logic so that shortcut keys won’t activate when controlling the game with a mouse.
4. An issue where, after Evading an attack, if 2+ allies would Evade an enemy’s AOE attack, the game would softlock
Cause: There was an error in the preexisting system. We assume that this issue occurred sometime before this current update. It occurs when 2+ allies who can reuse their Evade Skills after successfully evading once are targeted by AOE attacks.
Solution: We identified the problematic Evade Reuse logic, and we resolved it by correcting the said logic.
We will now track our development history and share them to set a more concrete testing perimeter so that developing a new system won’t cause such side effects.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
