Hello everyone, After these two months of vacation, I’m back and ready to continue developing The World of Orathos. I’ve taken your feedback into account regarding the quality of the graphics, the overly long and repetitive labyrinths, as well as the frequent use of default RPG Maker assets, etc. First, I’d like to thank the early supporters who purchased The World of Orathos. Rest assured that your support will be heavily reinvested into regular updates. Patch 10.0 is coming next month (October 15th), and it will add an additional 4 hours of gameplay, bringing the total to at least 16 hours of content. My drawing classes are progressing, and slowly but surely, the monsters of Orathos will change to feature my own designs. Many of you have seen me working on the Unite version, which is a 2.5D/3D version of The World of Orathos with much better graphics. I’m working on it in parallel, and here’s why. Unfortunately, since Unite is being developed using Unity, a new software for me, it requires a learning curve. Additionally, when the Unite update is released, all of your current game progress will unfortunately be lost. This really saddens me because I know how much time some of you have spent solving the mysteries of the game, etc. That’s why, when version 1 of Unite is released in beta, a temporary launcher will be deployed for download so you can test Unite and give us your feedback as soon as possible. The beta sign-ups are not open yet, but they will be soon, and of course, I’ll keep you informed. Now, back to patch 10. This patch requires a lot of creative work for the new monsters. I’m doing my best to keep progressing and provide you with as much content as possible. That’s why patch 10.0 will be split into five major parts: 10.0: "Memories" Update – Release on October 15, 2024 10.10: 25 new floors in the cave – Coming soon 10.20: 25 new floors in the cave – Coming soon 10.30: 25 new floors in the cave – Coming soon 10.40: 25 new floors in the cave – Coming soon This brings the total to 100 floors, with new monsters, challenges, exclusive items, and more. I ask for a little patience, but know that after all the updates for patch 10 are complete, I will dive into telling the story of Grylas, the main villain, divided into three chapters. Once that’s done, the game will be finished. At that point, I’ll focus on the Unite version, which will be patch 14. Thank you again for your support.
