Hello Friends, For those following MCC news close over on [url=https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us]Halo Waypoint[/url], you may have heard that we are currently conducting the [b]Season 6 [u]Flight[/u][/b] for Halo: The Master Chief Collection on PC and Xbox One! Today, we have updated the flight to include various updates to include the new “Exchange,” performance improvements to the all-new Halo 3 map, “Waterfall,” and various bug fixes. [b]These updates are in the Flight build only and cannot be accessed through the MCC product[/b]. The goal of a Flight is to test new features and content across a variety of devices, inputs and regions to gather player feedback and help us ensure our updates are ready for the ‘live’ version of the game. If you’re interested in becoming a Halo Insider and helping Flight (and we hope you are!) please find instructions on how to register below. Below are the items currently in flight as of today’s update! [list] [*] Season 6 customization content. [*] 2 new maps for Halo 3 from Halo Online (Edge and Waterfall). [*] FOV slider support for all Xbox One consoles. [*] FOV slider will no longer be locked when Xbox Series X|S devices are set to 120hz. [*] Double key bindings. [*] Mouse & keyboard support for consoles. [*] Advanced audio options. [*] Weapon Display Offsets for view model position customization options. [*] MCC’s all new customization content, “Exchange.” [*] A variety of additional bug fixes. [/list] We have just a few new things in there that players can try out, interact with, and experience for the first time in a Halo game. For players curious about what the “Exchange” is, think of it as a place to redeem unused season points. The items on offer will change week to week, and while there may be some new content (and bundles) there is also the opportunity to enjoy familiar favorites. Specifically we’ll be offering some cosmetics that you may missed out on from previous seasonal challenges, so stop in and see what’s available to scoop up. You’ll get to try it out for the first time in this flight!
