We've been driving around Forza Horizon 5's stunning recreation of Mexico since November 5, but before you shift that gear stick, you first need to know what your gaming PC needs to get you in the driver's seat. Given that the game also released on both the Xbox One and Xbox Series S|X, the Forza Horizon 5 system requirements are understandably low. Even so, those with the best graphics cards and best gaming CPUs will be able to push their pedals to the metal with beautiful levels of visual fidelity and blisteringly high frame rates.
There's no news on PC-exclusive settings or features to help boost fps, such as Nvidia DLSS or AMD's FSR, but Forza Horizon 5 does include ray tracing. However, the intensive graphical setting will only be used in the game's 'Forzavista' model viewer and requires a compatible graphics card.
Like other new releases such as Far Cry 6, Playground Games recommends you install Forza Horizon 5 on a solid state drive. While this isn't necessary, the best SSDs offer massively improved loading times when compared to HDDs. Whatever your storage solution, you'll need a chonky 110GB of space available to accommodate Forza Horizon 5's vast open-world.
