Commando 2
1. We have enhanced the AI of the Samurai Robot, making its combat performance more flexible and dynamic, with the number of moves increased by 200%. So we fixed the bug that made it look not-so-smart (haha).
At the same time, we'd like to take this opportunity to share the current issues in the game and our future plans:
1. Regarding controller support, achievement system, and Steam Workshop
After some research, we've confirmed that due to the limitations of the older engine used for this game, we are unable to implement these features. We sincerely apologize for this and deeply appreciate everyone's understanding and patience.
2. Future plans for Commando series
Initially, we launched 'Commando 2' out of nostalgia for our previous works. The game went live just two weeks after passing the store review, without us having high expectations for its popularity. However, to our surprise, many players still remember and love this game. We are incredibly touched by your continued support and affection. Thanks to this precious opportunity, we have secured some startup funding and plan to develop a brand-new sequel to the Commando series.
We plan to develop the new game using a modern engine, which will allow us to fully support controller operation, the achievement system, and Steam Workshop—key Steam features. We are excited about the future and are immensely grateful to each player who has supported us. Your enthusiasm gives us the motivation to keep moving forward.
As for this old game, it will serve as our testing ground. Whenever we come up with strange and quirky ideas, we'll test them here first. So, the updates for this game will not stop, and there will be more fun content in the future.
Once again, thank you all for your support!
