The 4D Playground and the Shape Builder now include the ability to export shapes in the .stl format, commonly used for 3D printing! As the shapes are defined mathematically as Signed Distance Fields (SDFs), a voxel grid system is used to export the 3D mesh. This works great for smooth surfaces, but note that hard edges look better at higher resolutions. You can adjust the resolution of the voxels when exporting your model, just remember, more detailed creations take longer to export. It is recommended to start with lower resolutions and work your way up to your desired level of detail. Have fun, and make sure to share any 3D prints you might make in the 4D Games Discord!
