What that means for you the player is. You level up both classes at the same time. and gain access to both class, and the tree of your choices, features, and elevations. Only drawback? you can't multiclass.

You know how the Conjunction above works? Yeah the Amalgam works kind of the same, but its for species.
2 random species chosen at random. possibly modified, possibly not, but you get ALL traits, and no cut to your maximum HP like the Hybrid.
but that random thing kinda sucks sometimes.
